Final Destination series began as a horror film based on a creative principle very seriously. Unlike almost any horror franchise, the murderer of the film would never take tangible form. By contrast, the wicked is death itself, as if death is an active force, arguing that life in the time it should not be broken. It's a brilliant premise, and the horror franchise has done a lot of good things in recent years, however, as used in the whole affair has gradually begun to take themselves less seriously, to the point now the deaths are so general ridicule. It turns out that ridicule is part of the fun of the horror franchise and everything started to run out of gas in the previous installment, Final Destination 5 injects new life into this hypothesis with some fresh ideas.
First, if you walk through a group of clumsy character development. Great movies you can learn about their natural character, the plot unfolds. It has all the characters involved and comfortable to reveal everything you need to know about your personality to another in the first movie in five minutes. This is to get him out of the way so we know the character to keep in mind when you start killing them, and do so because they know it is not deep enough for the same thing at the same time they are being killed. Not particularly well acted, the cast is a mixture of meats and cheesy cartoons. None of this is important because the entire script and the cast is almost useless when it comes to characters, Final Destination 5 is almost big enough for everything else.
This is especially important if you are already familiar with this franchise, because the film is filled with all sorts of gestures subtle and not so subtle films that preceded it. If you know why it is important that a truck carrying newspaper readers to the camera as the cast iron engine on the road, so it's probably the movie for you. In fact, it's a subtle nods a few, but to say more would be a spoiler. Suffice to say, if you are familiar with this franchise, the way they built this film will blow your mind.
To everyone else is really all about killing and all those highly unlikely that the final destination of the worst movie, running in a way that recalls their final destination at its best. Some hard does not make sense, but those are scary things, worth shaking. The first two Final Destination movies were as effective as they have played in many of our most basic day to day fears of an accident. The death involved large appliances remains of cars and planes of the explosion. For the third film that escaped from death and began to build elaborate Rube Goldberg as a mechanism to kill people, and although it was stupid fun, never been afraid to stop and fears in a more realistic basis. Final Destination 5 success by dividing the difference between these two possibilities, while adding some new wrinkles.
One of these new wrinkles, you've probably seen the trailer, with the discovery of the murder victims who might be a way to overcome the patterns of death. The idea is that if you cheat death to escape the destruction of certain pre-determined, so the death of a quota to fill and comes to you anyway. And then, what happens if someone murder and give the body the dying of a cold fill your quota for that slot? Then comes the time to live what was left of that person's life. And 'the starting point so good that the only real problem here is that the film does not do more. Final Destination 6? I can not believe I'm saying this after sitting through a movie terrible quarter a couple of years ago, but I agree.
For current fans of Final Destination franchise, this movie is an absolute necessity. For all other expectations of blood, some really fun scenes to kill, and great confusion all around sound cries of surprise at what is happening on screen. This film does not deserve three stars, I give as an independent film, but it is an independent film. Final Destination 5 is the culmination of ten years of madness and kills teens fear in the manufacturing sector.
