The last official day of summer is probably happening now as you read this. And 'the day Labor Day weekend here in the states, and this means that we have a good day last summer of fun, joke, grilling out and spending time with our family and friends before winter. A group of college friends, Labor Day, this might be the last,Sara (Sara Paxton) has kindly invited his college friends Nick (Dustin Milligan), Beth (Katharine McPhee), Blake (Chris Zylka), Maya (Alyssa Diaz), Gordon (Joel David Moore) and Malik (Paredes Sinqua) back to his family home in the middle of a lake in Louisiana Bayou country. It's time to drink, fornicate, and of course ... Shark Attack. It's true, kids. Your time shark and hunger for idiots college age!
I wish I could say that 3D Night shark was not terrible. I wish I could say that it fully embraces its B-movie premise and gives viewers gore, nudity, and all the clips that come with a flick of operating high quality,Unfortunately, the night shark is PG-13 and 3D, it even manages to failure as a film series B. It's like they took an R-rated film, cut all the fun stuff, and then pushed Canal SyFy cut in theaters (and save all the nudity and guts Cut Director's cut for home video version).
Honestly, I expected better of David Ellis. It seems odd to expect "better" the man who took a couple of final destination and Snakes on a plane, but we're here. Say what you will about the relative merits of these films, they know what they are and cling to the complete stupidity of this, and have fun in the process. I can get behind that. We can not support a bad movie sanitized this way,It's like someone (in studio) has amended Ellis leaf before it is adolescent friendly when it comes out in theaters. I have no idea if that's what really happened, but that's how I think it happened. He uses weird stuff with 3D sound, 3D shark cam, but apart from some bloody set pieces, you have most things would really want to see in 3D will not be shown.
What the players, well ... none of them were really stand out, and none of them were really pulling the film down, either. Sara Paxton is a funny, American Idol, Katharine McPhee looks good in a bikini, and that's all you can say to them. Donal analog is largely wasted Sheriff Sabin. They are all very nice people, or an interesting character actors and actresses in search that are sure to enjoy this wage, and could proceed to other things.
It is a pity that the Incentive Filmed Entertainment has not the courage you need to actually film the shark attacks on the right. Instead, the teeth of shark movies, shark movies have chosen the gums, and that really bites.
